What does Makai Pelvic target?
The pelvic chair stimulates pelvic floor muscle contractions while you remain seated and clothed. It may form part of the management of certain types of urinary incontinence and muscle weakness, depending on diagnosis and professional assessment.

If you leak urine when laughing, coughing or exercising, or want to regain muscle strength after childbirth, the first step is to identify the cause. Not all pelvic symptoms require strengthening: some need another type of care or rehabilitation.
What is the experience like?
Makai Pelvic sessions usually last 20 to 30 minutes. The team adjusts intensity to your tolerance and sets the frequency, goals and follow-up according to your case. You do not need to undress for the treatment.
Before starting
Tell us if you are pregnant or have a pacemaker, another implanted device, metal implants or a relevant medical condition. Assessment determines treatment suitability and whether it should be complemented by physiotherapy or other care.

No. Both women and men may need pelvic floor assessment. Suitability depends on symptoms and medical history.
How many sessions do I need?
This is determined after assessment. Response varies, and follow-up, exercises and maintenance may be needed.
Does treatment guarantee that leakage will stop?
No. The goal and response depend on the type of incontinence, its cause and the recommended plan. We explain expectations before starting.
