Discover skin rejuvenation with our Fotona laser treatment. This non-surgical approach addresses different layers of the skin, from the surface to deeper tissues. At Makai, Fotona technology is used to stimulate the skin and improve its texture, supporting a refreshed, more radiant appearance.
Snoring (NightLase)
NightLase is a laser option that may help reduce snoring in selected patients. The cause should be assessed first.
Suspected or diagnosed sleep apnea requires medical evaluation. Do not stop CPAP or another prescribed treatment. The number of sessions and response are individual.
Rosacea
Fotona laser is applied to an area affected by rosacea.
The goal is to improve redness and the associated appearance of inflammation and irritation, according to assessment.
Telangiectasia (spider veins)
A laser pulse is applied to the affected area to target visible blood vessels.
The aim is to improve the appearance of telangiectasia (spider veins).
Nail fungus
Laser energy heats the area affected by nail fungus. Visible changes depend on new nail growth and may take approximately six months or longer.
Suitability for fungal infections of the toenails or fingernails requires assessment.
Hair strengthening
Laser treatment is used as an option to support hair quality and address hair shedding in selected cases, for women and men.
Hair loss requires assessment to identify the cause and determine appropriate treatment. Conditions considered during evaluation include:
Alopecia areata · Telogen effluvium · Androgenetic alopecia
Scars and stretch marks
Laser is applied to stimulate fibroblasts and tissue remodeling, with the aim of improving the appearance, tone and texture of stretch marks or scars.
Suitability depends on the type of scar or stretch mark and the changes that can reasonably be expected.
Facial tightening
Combines two laser approaches to address tissue at different depths, supporting elastin and collagen stimulation for skin firmness from the neck toward the forehead.
May be considered for signs of aging and facial laxity, including in people over 40 or with previous facial procedures, following assessment.
TightSculpting: contour and firmness
TightSculpting combines two wavelengths from the Fotona platform to address body contour and the appearance of skin firmness. Suitability depends on the area and professional assessment.
The plan, expected response and aftercare are explained before starting. It is not a weight-loss treatment and does not guarantee a specific change in measurements.
Acne and scar treatment
This treatment addresses active acne and acne-related scars, with the goal of improving the appearance of breakouts, inflammation and skin texture.
It may be assessed for people with previous or active acne, or acne-related lesions.
Er:YAG resurfacing: skin renewal
Er:YAG resurfacing uses laser to renew the skin surface. At your consultation, we assess whether it may be an option for texture, fine lines or certain scars.
Intensity, recovery and aftercare depend on the protocol. Before treatment, we explain discomfort, the risk of pigmentation changes, possible complications and required sun protection.
